ring and pinion qustion
 

i have a ring and pinion that i'm not sure what brand. some one gave them to me. on the ring and pinion both is stamped TOY 571 i realize that it 571 gears just not sure what brand. on the styrofoam package it came in there is a sticker on the end that says G/G TOY-571. any help is greatly appreciated, they look new but not real sure, are the any distinguishing marks that would let me know that they have been installed or used.

Genuine Gear. Some will bash them, but they are made by the same people who make Richmond and Yukon.

If they have been installed and run enough to break in, the faces of teeth will be a little shiny compared to the dull finish on the rest of the gear.
