Rancho Shock Absorber Bushings
 

Back in 2022, I had made some custom 3D printed TPU bushings for the front shocks on my 1985 4Runner.
Those are still working fine, nearly 2 years later. I still need to replace the rest of the original poly bushings before they fall apart (20+ yrs old).
Recently I updated those 3D model files to include a few more of the types of Rancho bushings, including making a custom set for a Mazda 4x4 pickup that a buddy of mine has.
With the update, I have the files totally user customizable, especially handy for vehicles needing metric shock mount hardware, custom diameters or widths.
For the Mazda pickup, Rancho used to make shocks with custom bushings to fit that vehicle, but those part numbers are no longer made. They still make the same dimension shocks, but those come with the generic Rancho bushings that, of course, don't fit any of the the Mazda shock mounts.

Of course, if the supplied Rancho shock bushings work for you, no need to go the 3D printed route. You can purchase replacements at a reasonable cost.

Are you saying that there are different hourglass bushings ?

Yes, at least 2 styles (L1 and L3) as well as a straight bushing:

I only see 1 hourglass style bushing in a different kit with or without sleeve. I'm pretty sure all the hourglass bushings are the same and haven't seen anything different than the ones I keep in stock

I know there are at least 2 hourglass bushings along with the straight bushing. According to their shock specs page, there are a lot more than that. I have the smaller L1 hourglass in my 9120 shocks and the L1 straight bushings in the 9012XL shocks. The Mazda 4x4 pickup I worked with had the larger L3 hourglass and the L1 straight bushings in various shock eyes. On my 4Runner, I needed the L1 hourglass and straight bushings modified to have 3/4" IDs (19mm) instead of the default 5/8" (16mm) IDs. So much easier to 3D print the right size parts instead of spending an hour with a die grinder trying to open up the center holes like I did the first time around.

OK Got it, It appears I have the L1s in bulk in both 5/8'' and 3/4'' (19mm) I sell a lot of them. I changed out all the bushings on my toyota to the ones I carry (19mm) which are made out of polyurethane
