I have never seen a review of the Growler, but lots of people like the Rocker and the Maddog.
NOTE: they are bias ply - if you drive the rig on the road, look elsewhere |
In my tire search I read somewhere that, for smaller vehicles, the growlers may actually work just as well offroad as other tires in their line. I decided against them because they are bias ply and the procomps were on sale really cheap (4 for 3 and free shipping).
Unrelated, why 31x11.50? |
ran the 35x14.5 maddogs for a bit, havn't found a better tire in the snow... wear like soap...
|
For that price, why not run the Super Swamper LTB. These are also bias ply, but I have had some last almost as long as a TSL, and they are a lot less money. Or are you not looking for that kind of tire pattern?
