Anyone have any experience with them?
I didn't know they even existed until today.

They almost threw in a set when they shipped my springs/shocks but my dealer told them no because he couldn't get ahold of me. My stabilizer is on backorder, so I may get them to toss a set in when they ship that.

Are these new? What size? Any good?

I saw them on ARB'S website but don't personally know of anyone who has them. Did I read correctly that you paid $98.00 for a OME stabilizer ? I just bought one from 4X4 Connection for $58.84. They called today about that and rear coils came in. Only three day wait.

I have never heard of them. For what it's worth I have been hanging around boards like this for 5 years or so. Usually products like that would come to the forefront.

If you can find out the diameter, I would stay away from anything more than 23mm unless you, your front bumper and your girlfriend are fat.

He said he paid $98 Canadian. I have no clue how much that would be American. Probably around what you paid, maybe a little more.

Are you sure they're made for Toyotas? I've never heard of them, and the website lists no specs. OME makes stuff for other vehicles too. Might be for a Mitsubishi or Isuzu. Not that that means they wouldn't fit on a Toyota. The important thing is to find out the diameter and spline count on the bars and go from there.

I am supposed to get a phone call today with those specs, but it hasn't come yet, go figure. I'll let you all know when I find out.
Either way, since nobody knows anything about them, and I don't like being a guinea pig, I'll just stick with the SAW's

Well, if you don't... at least post the specs here so someone else might.

The big seller would be the spring rate. It would be cool if it would be in between the stock bars and the SAWs, so it could be flexy, but firm enough to support a winch.

I'd be interested in them...and the OME springs. The 4Runner is sagging way too much on the back and the left...without me in it.

I'm an Isuzu guy as well as Toyota and there really hasn't been any talk of the OME torsion bars amongst our boards. Most have used the stock ones or Calmini.

Hopefully the OME bars are like 24mm to give us a nice variance of choice.

ORS sells the torsion bars....don't say what thickness they are though. I googled it and searched through a couple of pages and found no size but saw its offered in the Hilux, land Cruiser, Mitsubishis' and Isuzus'.

I have the OME torsion bars for about year now and have liked them so far. They offer a firm ride on road and still work great in the woods too. With the OME torsion bars i hardly noticed any difference when i took the swaybar off from my truck ('02 D4D Hilux). The downside of the OME torsion bars is that they rust easily in salt water environments.
