Male-female slip roll cage connectors – not interconnected - Source needed

6 months ago... maybe on a store website... maybe on ebay.... I saw someone was making male-female slip connectors for roll cages (welded in bung. Not clamp). This is ideal for my plans relative to interconnected style connectors. But I can no longer find the source. Does anyone know where to find them? Also, In the case of either interconnected or slip, how important is Chromoly over normal steel?
Thanks in advance for the help,
