educate me PLEASE
 

I've read numerous about lockers, diffs, spools, gears, etc.

can someone please educate me on what to do I drive about 10 miles to work but i go off road quite a bit is a spool and maybe 4.88 gear the way to go. I'm no novice to mechanics but I am a little confused on the third member issue, Do I go lunchbox locker, spool, LSD?

I think my ratio is 4.30 but the tag on pass. side is missing

Just get a lunchbox locker and be done with it. I would never put a spool on a vehicle that drives on-road at all.

X2. A spool would eat up tires very quickly. Spools would be for a vehicle that sees no street driving what so ever. A lunch box would be a good, cheap alternative. I've heard good things about the spartan, and have had bad evperience with the lock rite, so I'd definitely recommend a spartan.
