Coil-over lifts for tacoma??
I just bought a 04 Tacoma and am interested in putting the 2.5" coil-over lift on it. Does anyone recommend a particular brand. All-pro Off road, Camburg, Fab-tech, King??? What about for the rear?

why can you only lift the tacomas 2.5" with this system? What limits the lift?

you can only go so high before you componets wont line up, thats when you get into the 3inch plus. many people do mild lift 2-3 inchs and then a 1 to 2 inch body lift after that. you will probably be told to search because this subject is covered in detail in many threads. how big of tires are you planning on running?

285x75x16 are the recommended.

if you are willing to get the bling coilovers look into new rear leaf packs, deaver makes some good ones

get some hoes. get a diff drop if youre gonna crank em over 2'. hell, get it anyway coz its cheap. and as hutch said, get new packs in the back instead of AAL's.
welcome to yotatech and dont forget most if not all your questions will be answered here just noticed that there are similar thread listings below posts..cool! is that new or have i just been blind this whole time? |
the donahoes can be expensive. for a little bit cheaper alternative (with a great ride still) check out the sway-a-way (SAW) coilovers.
