time to lift my tundra ?
 

i have decided to lift my 2000 tundra i have a few questions. i want to go with a 2.5 cornfed or the 2.75 mako. both of these lifts come with the 1'' diff drop. is this enough diff drop to limit the cv boot wear issues that the 2000's have. is the cornfed lift a spring preload spacer or is it a shock assembly spacer ? i only want to lift it once and want to use the best option withought going over 3" and i realy do not want to use the kits that come with a new shock . i want to run a "narrower tire" was thinking a set of 255/85/16. i will be going with an add a leaf in the rear. should i get different front coil springs in the front to match the rear spring rate increase caused by the add a leafs? anny suggestions? i did some searching but could not find ansers to all my questions

Not having lifted yet, but from what I've read you don't need to bother with different front coils. You should change your CV boot clamps to a stainless worm gear type. I've heard the factory clamps tend to spit grease when lifted. Don't know about MAKO but all of those lifts run on the same idea with very little differences. Let us know how it works and how well the 255/85's do.
