AIRAID throttle body spacer

has anyone used this product? I was searching around for a few performance mods. and this came up quite a few times, but i have yet to actually talk to someone who has used it. Anyone here know about it?

It is supposed to improve power and mpg, so i want to know if they are just blowing steam, or what.

Don't waste your money, throttle body spacers don't work with port type injection.
And if you think logically about it you can't increase power and mpg at the same time. To increase power you must burn more fuel, therefore your mpg will go down.

Agreed. They're a great idea in carb'd vehicles though...

Unless you can use the fuel you do burn more efficiently, which means that when you want power you'll have more of it, and when you're just cruising or not really tapping the motor's potential you will need less fuel to accomplish the same task.

Power can be achieved many ways, efficiency is one of them. ;)

They make a cool turbo like sound at higher rpm's. Other than that, save the $100 for gas
