02 Tundra: Bilstein 5100s on just the Rear?

I have a 2002 Tundra Limited. I want to lift it eventually, but have other priorities in the meantime. My front struts were replaced a few years ago by a previous owner but the rears are original and shot (one is leaking oil pretty badly).

Since I was planning to go with 5100s when I do the lift, I would like to go ahead and replace the rear shocks now. Are there any problems with running 5100s in just the back, with stock shocks up front and no lift?

You shouldn’t have any problems with mixing brands of shocks front to rear. The only time you would run into a problem is if you only replaced shocks on one side which can cause handling/ braking issues.
