trans check?
 

I have a 1991 land cruiser and I was wondering how to check the transmission fluid. I changed the filter and fluid and I put in the 6.3 qts that was specified for drain and fill I just want to check the fluid. The repair manual says to check it when its hot but is that hot with the truck running or off? Thanks
