Indoor nitro??? Didn't know that existed. I thought they didn't do that because of the fumes.

that's cool. you should try to fit it with an RC "dixie" horn.

I am have been working on a new body for a while, a replica of the pu$$y wagon from Kill Bill 1. still looking for a decent set of wheels to match and the body style is a little off but close enough i guess.

there's a couple of indoor tracks around town,
they have exhaust fans & only let the nitro's run a couple days a week.
really LOUD. earplugs recommended

i also go to a old farmers barn out in bfe.
he keeps his livestock in one side & lets us race on the other.
really tight track,
they race bmx on saturday's & r/c's on sundays.
really large , you can haul ass.

I've been to an indoor gocart racetrack, called "slick-cart racetrack" or somthing, had a slick cement floor which allowed you to drift around the turns...it was way fun. They just had a bunch of vents and fans on all the time and it was fine, smelled unusual when behind someone though, i bet they used fuel scent to cover up the bad smell of exauts, because it was kinda appealing but seemed like you'd get knocked out if you breathed it in long enough.....hehe

just gotta have a breeze and you'll be fine, which means big fans....big holes in the wall...etc...

Well I was going to bid on the complete RS4 rally on ebay, but my girl went and bought me a brand new one! She's the greatest! I guess they weren't as hard to find as I thought they would be. I'm almost done assembling it, but I'm having trouble putting in 2 of the spring pins for the hubs. Does anyone have any tips to getting them in?

A good resource for the RS4 is the HPI forums. Or RCCaraction forums

I don't know anything bout rs4's, so I don't even know what part that is.

Can't help you with the car but try posting on the forums at HPI Racing's site . They have one specifically for RS4 Rallys and are usually quick to help. BTW, that sure was nice of your girl. She sounds like a keeper.

Joey, when I go back to houston in a couple weeks I'm gonna grab my savage. So on my way back to Greenville maybe we can run them when I come through there.

Sounds like a plan. I actually got mine out and ran it the other night for the first time in about 5 months. I know, lame. I ran it at about 12:00 PM on campus and had no complaints. That thing is loud since I haven't heard it in so long. I replaced the fuel lines on Friday. The brakes aren't working worth a dang. And I have it running pretty rich while I get used to tuning it again and get it dialed in.

We'll run them. I'll put you to shame with the brushless truck too. Maybe we can both put my neighbor's E-Maxx to shame.

Well that was a little crazy. I don't really see the point in it but to each his own I guess. I was hoping the guy would fall off of the pole and get hit by the tether wire. I was getting dizzy just watching it.

Hey guys....I've been wanting to get into r/c's for a while and have been looking around,...i'm still a noob but is they pretty much everything I need to get started?

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXPW87**&P=0

I know I'll need nitro and batteries and little odds and ends.....the fuel filler and such...and other then that...that web page is for the R/C truck built and assembled & the radio controller correct?

Hey what's up guys! I'm back from the dead That is, if anyone even noticed I was gone... I was trying to avoid this forum so that I wouldn't spend any more money on my truck Well, I was bored, so I dropped by again, and was surprised to see that this thread is still alive! Since everyone loves pictures, here's a pic of what my R/C car looks like right now. I've tried to stop spending money on that too, but parts always break Can you tell I have monster truck envy? Yeah, it's not a Toyota, but toyota bodies are impossible to find.
