I like the chassis too, its lines remind me of the Clodzilla 2, my favorite clod chassis. I just got the axles done on my TLT, and am gonna finish up the chassis design hopefully today.

Thanks!
I havent posted about it on RCMT yet. I did on clodtalk but not RCMT. I will though when its finished, which will take some time.
I plan on aquiring some stock clod wheels and narrowing them. They are Imex dually tires.

oh my god the memories....i had a bruiser back in 1990 or so. it was the kind with a shifting gearbox. I had to use an airplane remote with it so i could switch gears.
It was slow as crap and hard to control. I used to run it with friends who had fast cars that would do circles around me. The fun part was trying to cut them off and run them over.
I let that erector set truck sit in a box in my back yard for a few years and forgot about it...when i found it again in 1995 it was rusted and useless.
If i had known these things would retain their value so well i would have kept it in working condition and sold it. oh well

i'm strictly NITRO now.
had a couple 4wd electrics. but the 5-8 min runtimes are just a downer.
10 minute runtimes with a nitro and just pit to gas up and run somemore.

my friend just got a HPI RS4 Rally so that he could do the drift thing. He's actually at Home Depot right now buying PVC pipes, but they don't make 2.25" pipes and his wheels are 2"....
Toddski, that's a really nice B3. Did you paint it yourself?
ldavinag, with the brushless setups available now, run times are a lot longer. I'm getting 35 minute run times with my Novak Super Sport and 3300 mAH NiMH packs!

When new, I was getting 110-120 minute runtimes on my Bruiser from an absolutely huge 10Ah battery. Thing weighs about five pounds though Now that the battery has run down, I'm lucky to get 15 minutes But then, they're only $22 or so to replace.

I've got an HPI SNR. It's pretty fun. I've added a hopped up motor and a two speed, with other little odds and ends. I'm never happy with the gearing though. HPI needs to make more spur gears.

Not sure if u know or not, but just cause ur car is an HPI, Doesnt mean u have to buy hpi gears. Theres tons of them, u just have to get one that adapts to your car, and make sure the pitch is the same.

WOAH time to give this thread some life....
I have a 2.5 T-maxx, it's really fun, when i have the time and patience to tune it and run it. lol. This hobby shure is expensive! I'm Figit090 at www.radiocontrolzone.com so if anyone is there they'll know who i am.
Mods;
RPM skidplates
RPM bulkhead braces
OFNA failsafe
HPI 1200mah receiver battery
Traxxas Big Bore Shocks
#M Vetwrap on all 8 shocks (ceeps dirt from getting to shafts, works great!)
Took chrome off stock rims, died them blue (much better ) and trimmed the tread for optimum grip on all 4's.
New GS racing cooling head (blue top)
I also just bought a new set of RPM dyeable 'Claws' rims, i have yet to buy new rubber for them though. And i have a Ford Excusion body sitting waiting to get some paint

Man I haven't been on radiocontrolzone in forever. I need to stop by there. I haven't messed with my car for a while now. It's just sitting collecting dust. I wonder what I could get for it.
