Cool,
Lets see some install pics, and if you could include some part numbers that you are using to complete the axle build i would greatly appreciate it.
thanks

bearings, shafts and these fine flanges are on the list.

Here are some pics installed, they are on one of our 9" housings I am using in the rear of my FJ45 pickup...
Just the flange...
With the spindle...
With the Hub, Rotor, & Caliper...
Its really a pretty simple operation and this is just about all the instructions anyone will need. Of course I am running 31 to 30 spline shafts but they are damned easy...

looks great !!.. so the calipers are IFS S12,S13, the rotors are fj40 or fj60.....and what are the spindles from ?
Edit : never mind i went back to your first post..
This is a weld on Axle Flange to mount Front Toyota Mini, Fj40, or FJ60 spindles to the rear axle. The caliper bosses are made to use the IFS Truck ('86-'95) calipers and FJ40 or FJ60 rotors.
so do you know if any stock axles can be used to keep the FJ40 width, using your axle housing with an fj40 diff?

This one is FJ80 width, a shave under 64, I believe it was 63.75".
There are alot of different front inner axles you could use but I think the 80 or 60 may be the only long enough for an offset housing. For a centered housing anything from an FJ40 on up should do it if you cut and respline one end. One of my employees is getting ready to do this to his and we have a ton of inner axles around so we will see what can be done with stock stuff then.

We made a couple of discoveries on this one. One caliper was from an early axle and the other was from an FJ60 (Much heavier). Both will work with the early rotors we used here but if you have the later IFS or FJ60 calipers you can use the later vented rotors. The space between the pads is wide enough on the later stuff but either caliper will work on the early rotors.
For your question we will find out over the next few dys or weeks as we do Jay's axle...

I like this a lot. I like the ease of redoing full floating axles. Once the actual lenght of the inner axle is figure out, I might have to get me a set...keep us posted.

Since these are weld on flanges, what dies one do about the 4-bolt mounting area? In other words, what is the best way to center these flanges on the axle and weld to?

Some answers for you...
We install them using a trubar but a simple instalation trick would be to use a long (5') piece of heave DOM or 3" angle iron and 2 machinist squares. Clamp it about 3" off the faceplate and setup the correct length and then with the machinist squares true them to each other. Pretty simple...

I thought while I was showing the rear I might as well show the front it is pairing up with!
It looks a little out of scale because those are FJ80 knuckleballs for the Hellfure Fab Knuckles and Highsteer. If I have the time to finsh it today I will post it up

Here is the finished front axle, I did not know for sure but I am happy to report that FJ40 and Mini Aisan lockouts are a direct replacement for the fulltime factory stuff!

We got a ton of calls about the Hellfire Knuckles and High Steer after I posted this. We are the only distributor of them besides buying direct from Billy at Hellfire. I haven't advertised them because Billy sold the entire 45 pair of the first batch in 6 weeks. The next batch should be available in a couple of weeks!
