What do you guys think about our upcoming Short Throw Shift Base?

2X on the L52 short throw base (would work on L50 as well, right?. I don't remember which I put in when I replaced 15yrs ago.) Also a new shift lever, the 2 "grooves" in the ball of mine are pretty chewed up.
Fully understand why it may be a while, if ever, for this "low demand" trans option. Just letting you know it's more than just Dave looking for one.

Anyone got their original L52 shift lever retainer lying around? Transmission shop broke mine doing a rebuild and can't find another ...
MarlinCrawler is out of the short shifter kits for L52 and also doesn't have the shift lever retainers.
Any help is much appreciated; and this is on the shop's dime, so happy to pay for part + shipping.
