So assuming one already has the fabtech 3.5 kit installed:
All you need are the lift spindles, extended brake lines front and rear, extended shackles in the rear, BE5-A463-H6 bilsteins or whatever longer shocks you want for the rear).
No need for new shocks up front and you get a 3 inch lift for the front from the spindles and the rear lift depends upon the length of shackles and shocks you go with.

Yakerat, you are one of the few on here who gives their 2wd yota the love and attention it deserves, keep up the good work!

if you plan on going through the ruff stuff and any type of speed, you dont want a shock with soft compression. thats just going to let the suspension blow through the travel and make the truck buck.
and i dont get what the dig deal is about yakerat putting the bilsteins on his truck... the bils will be a better riding, longer lasting, nice upgrade from the crappy white rocket shocks that the fabtech kit comes with. also now the truck could easily be set up with a fox/king/saw shock so then the ride characteristics could be tuned even more.

Dude Razed get outta here and go bug someone else. God damn this is why I never do any write ups or anything because pricks like you. Get off my thread you dick, your not the YT god you think you are....
Anyways here are some pictures of the final setup. Lovin it so far. The rear is a little stiff, but I will figure something out or just deal. I do haul some heavy product sometimes, so I guess it will come in handy sometimes.
I love this truck and I am planning on keeping it for at least 10 more years. My dad bought it new off the lot in 1991 and gave it to me 5 years ago with 95,000 miles on it. I have basically just modernized the whole truck, inside and out so I can enjoy everytime I drive it!

Keep the thread on topic please and knock off the penis measuring.
If you don't want comments, don't post a thread.
If you can't comment without being a douche, shut your hole.
Is that clear enough?
Nice thread. Thinking outside the standard bolt on mods is always encouraging to see.
I've always thought the ZUK mod was pointless myself too.

Ever thought about chevy springs in the back? Keeping it spring under of course. Nice cushy ride and travel too boot plus that rear sway bar would keep them firm when you wanted to.

Now your thinking! That sounds like a good idea to soften up the rear a little bit but I just bought new shocks with just under 10" of travel for the rear. How much do basic Chevy springs flex on these 2wd's? Anyone with an estimate out there?

I know the chevy springs flex well on 4wd, so i can only assume theyd droop well in a 2wd setup, granted you had a long enough shackle.
Ever consider doing the shackle mounts about the framerails with a really long shackle for a ton of droop when prerunning or whatever you do with this truck?
It is a pretty sweet looking truck, too.

the chevies installed on a 4wd net a couple inches of lift but I think a lot of it comes from the front spring hanger being mounted further forward and on a lower part of the frame (somebody correct me if I'm wrong I am not saying this from experience only from speculation) So in theory you could probably fab a lower profile hanger, or just use a small drop block.

Believe it or not the frame is level to the ground. If I remember correctly it is about 15" from the ground on both sides lemme double check though. The pictures look like the front is higher because how I'm parked. Right now I'm running 31X10.50X15 BFG A/T's with no problems. If you have 2wd front fenders, these tires will NOT fit without help from a Sawzall. The Obsessed spindles increased my track width nearly an inch on each side as well. Jeff from Obsessed claims about 5/8" track width increase but I saw more personally.

Like I said earlier I will be running sway bar disconnects for off road purposes. I don't need the flex on the street though. I have tried no sway bars, just a front sway bar, just a back sway bar, and both front and back sway bars and I really prefer having both sway bars on the street. I know you say I don't need it but I absolutely love it and it actually makes a pretty noticeable difference to me so it's staying.
Also the Obsessed spindles increase track width nearly an inch on each side, so that's why I'm saying you may need to do some cutting on stock 2wd fenders. With stock 4wd fenders installed on my 2wd the extended track width from the spindles is PERFECT with no rubbing.

I know, I had just the fabtech kit and 30X9.5X15 bfg's at one point with 2wd fenders and it rubbed really bad and bent my fenders all up. When I went to 4wd the 1.5" flare was too much and looked dorky. I stepped up to the 31X10.5X15 and until I put the obsessed spindles on the 31's rubbed really bad on the firewall if I hit even the smallest bump. By the way this is all with aftermarket wheels with stock backspacing.

pretty sick build i like what i did with the uppers and spindles. new shock mounts were a good idea i think cause u are now not limited by the shock and can have a nicer ride. im going to be going on a similar route as you. i have a 92 2wd. i got some chevy 63 springs, saw torsions, and bj spacers, picked up some glass for all 4 corners too. for now the front will be like that til i can find a lt kit. im lookin to throw some 31's under too.

Just ordered (2) 47" OME medium duty rear springs and (4) of their U-bolts. Should be here in about 2 weeks. I just bought shocks so chevy springs are out of the question and ZUK coils seem sketchy and unconventional to me. I thought long and hard but decided that for what I use this truck for the OME springs will work out great. Features that caught my eye were that they offer a comfortable ride and increased load capacity along with full military wrap in front and a flat axle seat area to prolong life. Wish me luck, can't wait to get these things in with all poly bushings and my new detachable rear sway bar links I just got from 4crawler.

If you still use YotaTech, i was wondering i recently had 4 inch lift spindles made for my truck to fit 30s and my tires rub bad, hit the cab when turning to lock, what did i do wrong?? Could it possibly be my backspacing? i got 3.5 backspaced rims and 30x9.50 general at2s
