1978 Oil Pan Gasket
 

Having a surprisingly hard time finding info...

I want to replace the oil pan gasket on my 78, 20R 2wd pickup.

Anyone know what needs to be removed to get the pan out? I was kinda hoping I could just loosen up the engine mounts and jack it up a little, but not sure if that'll give me enough clearance.

Only thing I found with a lot of searching was a guy who was trying to slide his out the back, and was hitting the shield between the engine and tranny, which I'd rather not mess with...

Just curious if anyone has experience.
