toyotafiberglass - Al's new bed and paint

Al came to us after looking for a stock steel bed , and having no luck .. He has replaced his fenders with Taiwan fenders , and Taiwan doors .

here's where we are






doors don't fit very well , i'll get some pics

Hey slacker I'm sure the info is somewhere but how much does a stock bed weigh compared to your glass ones?? Anywho looks sweet wish I had some extra loot to get a bed and paint, at some point I will

YES , FIR , 5/8" , same as the floor , sucks up the resin like a "sponge" . Very stong and durable on it's own , but we go the extra length of sealing the back side as well . then "sandwiched" with 1.5oz cloth , making it a structural part of the bed , it also offers the weight we need , to make them exactly the same as stock , which means shocks and springs will work as "stock"


just as an added note ..
i have now had mine on my current truck for 13 years , and we abuse the crap out of this thing , and + it has been off and on my 2wd a few times .. NO issues to date (other then the rearended accident that broke my T/g )

you will NEVER see our product "break" like our competitor's product

Slacker, which truck were you referring to? You said your personal truck, but I guess I've never seen a picture of it..is there a build thread?

sorry , no build threads , other then one about swaping the powertrain out in this section



here it is , and is a rolling advertizement for me
box has been on now for 11 years front fenders 10 years .. and so on .....
this picture is about 2 or 3 years old , but looks the same today , but if you want , I can go "snap" some for you as of today
