Safe Harbors: Trusted Mechanics Along Highways

Requesting Recommendations for Mechs Along 5Fwy

We do our best to keep our vehicles in tiptop shape, and we have our trusted mechs near our home and work. However, sometimes even the best-maintained ones develop problems away from home. Like good captains who know safe harbors for when the weather gets rough, we need to know trusted mechanics within reasonable distance from wherever we may find ourselves stuck.

I would like to ask fellow members to post your trusted mechanics, within 10 miles (reasonable free-towing distance for insurance companies) of Fwy 5 corridor (from SanYsidro, CA to Richmond, BC) map here

Requested Info:
  • City In Title of Reply Would Help
  • Name
  • Specialty
  • Address
  • Which Exit from Fwy 5
  • Website if any

P.S.
Specifically, I plan to drive my 1986 4Runner to Mount Shasta, CA Approx. Driving Route here for our climb this June.. I will have her checked out by San Diego Trux, but it's best to be safe. If problem arises, only mechs trusted by fellow Yotatech members may touch her.

So far, I've only found a recommendation in Stockton. I will also add shops as I find them.
