I recently acquired a 93 T100. It has piston slap and I know the reason these 3VZ-E engines were plagued with this symptom. I am looking for recommendations for a source for a long block. I am not interested in the 3.4 swap. I have to do this in my driveway and have limited time to spend on this repair. I know this has been beat to death here so I am just looking for current good source for a good reliable long block 3VZ-E. Sorry, Probably not the correct Sub-forum.

Post this in the main t100 forum and probably the 90s pickup and 4runner forums for more responses. The t100 forum doesnt get as much traffic.

best of luck, you can do it. All you need is an engine crane and a good torque wrench. Id check car-parts.com for a used block nearby.
