toastyjosh 95 taco build

Hey fellas I picked up this 95 taco early this week.



So I drove 6 hrs to get and then drove it back. She runns pretty dam good.
Specs
3.4 V6 267xxxmi, 5 speed
newish 31X10.50 duratracks
bumps and bruises all over.
picked it up for 3500


Plans:
New valve cover gaskets
ISR and elbow mod
High flow air filter
some sort of high flow muffler
new plugs/wires
seafoam
drain and fill drive train
other general tune up stuff
paint wheels black
black out grill
Some sort of front lift

Thanks dude! Yea its fun.
I think I am going to have to get rid of the 81.. wife says only one.


On a different note, does any one know if the stock front springs or struts off of a 2nd gen tundra will fit on the taco?

toasty, take a look at the lower ball joints for play/wear/etc. There have been many failures of LBJs in this vintage rig...some Tacoma and numerous 4Runners. Some of us have replaced LBJ andf UBJ as PM items.

On the turn signal, Ritzy4Runner and Habanero have threads or post inside threads on moving the signal into the corner marker light. I followed what Habanero did with great results.

I picked up a couple of bulb holder off eBay for cheap, but local parts store should have them too.

Thanks for the info.
I will go check the ball joints in the am.

I have some vibration/ tire wear in the front end.
Need to have everything rotated and balanced.
See what that does
