Engine swap
 

Hello everyone im a newbie here. I have a question about an engine swap my tacoma is a 1997 with a 2.4L 2rz with a distrubitor. My Build date is 09/96,heres the problem i bought a 1997 2.4L 2rz engine with a build date of 06/97 from a junkyard it has coilpacks on it. The newer motor has 84000 miles on it. what do in need to swap to make the new engine work in my truck? Can i do away with the coilpacks on the newer engine and will it accept the distrubitor in there place,does the cam on the newer engine still have the drive gear for the distrubitor on it? I gave the guy my build date and my wife went to get the engine and i found the diffrence when i got home. $750.00 big ones in the balance?
