You can get one from a junkyard for about $30 and install it with the controls for less than $100 total.

Ummm, buying a battery is hardly a catatrophe. :P

$550 for a radiator is highway robbery. I got my replacement for $220 installed with a lifetime warranty.

At least they took care of you (this time)

He's robbing you blind man:nono: A radiator should cost you no more than 200, fan clutch... junkyard or 125 max, battery 70, starter, rebuild it! maybe 20 bucks in parts. Get a new mechanic or get it done yourself:welder:

Or see if he's going to cover the costs. He's the one who installed the fan clutch right? Alot of shops guarantee their work, so I would definately bring this up to him.

And after you're through with him, kick him to the curb and find a reputable mechanic.

Your mechanics gotta go. This should not be happening. I wonder if hes tightening up the belt way too much . He should be replacing these new occurences as well. Then find a new mechanic.
