wobbilly rear tire

my rear tire wobbles back and forth after a violant impact to the passanger side rear..................im guessing its just a bent axle??

i have been to napa, advance, and checker and they do not carry the rear axle......

i see axles on ebay but i want to be sure i am buying the correct one. a part# would be wonderfull.

btw, im new to these forums as i just aquired a 99 4-runner limited but have been lurking ever since got my 2gen 4 runner 1.5 years ago.

***flame suit on***

thanks
zach

Actually, it's more likely your rim is bent. I would check that first, because it would be much cheaper to replace than the entire rear axle.

It depends on what kind of axle it is, but it'll cost a lot more than that, even for one from a junkyard.

Like I said, I suspect the rim is bent instead.
