window "clunk"
 

ok guys, i haven't popped my head behind the door panel yet, but when i roll down the driver's window it makes a lound clunking/popping noise. everything works fine though. once you roll it down, if you roll it back up and roll it down again, it doesn't make the noise, its only the first time. :dunno:

i can also move the window back and forth, more than you should be able to in my mind at least.

anybody ever had any problems like this?

Stop fidgeting and rolling the window endlessly up and down!

I would bet you need to lube the mechanism. When they get to be your age, they can dry out. Slather a liberal quantity of a good lubricant around on all the moving parts and you probably won't hear the sound anymore.
