My new 4Runner has a tan interior that is prone to dirt spots, stains and such.

Front, rear and cargo area husky liners are the best solution for those areas but the carpeted section of the tailgate that I often use as a step, and gets stuff like dirty boxes, firewood and dead animals drug over it is a sitting duck as they say.

I want to fabricate a heavy duty replacement for the carpeted section of the tailgate out of a black plastic/rubber, (preferably w/ the treadplate pattern). Like what husky liner uses or what bushwhacker uses on its Jeep "trail armor" is what I want.

I am at a loss as to where to get a "sheet" of it though. Any ideas or links would be greatly appricated. Thanks!

I think it's part of their "Gladiator" line of garage products.

you can also get it usually from the dealer that you bought it from. you can ask for it in the parts department
