what intake and exaust?

hey all,
i have a 95 toyota truck with 22re.
would an exaust and ait intake make my truck breath better and in turn pick up speed better?
do you guys notice a nice seat of the pants differance?
what would you reccomend for me? thanks.
also, any other mods to help would be nice. bolt ons only, nothing internal.
and i dont want to sacrafice reliablity.

Thats what those 2 mods are for common sense speaking. Just dont go overboard on exh pipe diameter and you should be good. 2"-2.25"

anyone with same engine notice a big diffeance? or at least a worthwil diff?
and if so,what set up should i go with? thanks

a pacesetter header and 2.0 inch exhaust should run you about $300 all told and will increase the fun factor. the intake is alittle different. you can spend alot of cash for a hotshot intake, or a k&N filter adapter, and probably not notice any gain... in my opnion.

For $10 on ebay you too can have this:

This cone filter gave me a lot better throttle response. I had the K&N drop in before ($50) and no noticable diferance was detected.

bike4miles,what set up is that?
and i will have to look into the pacesetter. who sells that for the best price?
and what would my truck sound like with it? i dont want the tuner ricer sound. lol

i got mine from summit for like $110. when i had my exhaust done i told the guy that it had to flow, and not be annoying. so just go with a nice quiet muffler and its not too bad. a 4cyl always will put out that jackass sound, i find its just the degree to which you amplify it.
