Want to keep that new car smell forever in your 4Runner?

I've seen countless sprays, scents, etc. that claim to give to be that "new car" smell in a can. Well, they don't exist and don't smell anything like a new car.

Well, I found something that smells very real and does the job. This may be the best $2 you ever spent!

The thing that gets me is, they show a picture of a candle labeled "leather" but they don't even make it in a candle, just for the car tree. If you like the way it smells, go to the "contact us" and request they make a candle.

My S, still smells new, but I tried this in my 4Runner and it's like the day I bought it. I don't smoke in my cars and am very fussy, but that new smell doesn't last forever. I highly recommend this and wish I thought it up first.

I found mine at a Hallmark. Chime in if you bought one or after you try it out.

If you don't want something hanging from your mirror, stick it under your seat.

Yeah you know, I got a pretty good Saturday planned out. Gonna stop by Home Depot, maybe Bed Bath and Beyond, dont know if I'll have enough time. (Old School)

Seriously though Bed Bath and Beyond has Yankee candles, I'll check it out.

I'll have to try this too. Although I don't think there's a Yankee Candle in Canada. I guess I'll just have to order online...

its like a spicy leathery old man smell... its so horrible.

it got on my fingers and i couldnt eat dinner.. wouldnt wash away.

maybe im extra sensitive or something, but i took that thing the heck out of my truck super quick. luckily the smell didnt stick.

jason, man, youre the man when it comes to 4runner stuff.. but im afraid this is a bad call!

Are you questioning my judgement?

Maybe you got a stale one. What I did was only opened a corner of the plastic and put it under the front seat.

If you really want a leather smell, without making you vomit, you should try this stuff from Griot's Garage. I bought a bottle about two years ago and still have plenty left. Every once in a while, i will just spray a couple of times under the seats and it smells like new leather.

How long does it normally last? I am still looking for a good air freshener, like you I don't smoke and like to keep the 4runner smelling nice.
