vibration at stop, but while in drive

My 2002 makes a vibration, and i can hear the exhaust ratling, while i am at stop lights,etc... it seems to be getting worse.
i took it to the dealer, they say they tested it along with other 4runners, and they say they all do the same thing. it a normal charateristic of 4runners... does anyone else's do this? is the dealer full of it?

No exhaust rattle here, I have changed it. I did however have a duct that rattled under my glove box when I was at a stop light, that made me crazy.

You may want to drive it for a while and then stop while its running and check the heat shield, maybe its been bent and is making contact with the exhaust. Thats my best guess.

On a side note: Have you or anyone else had a problem with the front door seals? After a rain, water collects between the door and the body. With my window down I come to a stop and it pours in, all over my leg and inside of the door. If theres any water to be collected there, it keeps gathering in that spot and will keep doing it stop after stop until about a half of a cup has been poured inside. Then it will quit. I have tried checking my rubber seal and its tight and seems to be in the right position...

02Runner, maybe you got a tear on the plastic that's inside the door itself. Other than that I can't think of any other reason. Oh that rubber seal that touches the glass? Mine's way worn out and barely touches the glass for a full seal anymore but yea check the plastic. There's a write-up on the tech secton on how to take out the door panels. Here's a Link courtesy of Al Kwan. Good Luck
