Valve Lash Specs
 

does anybody have a FSM handy to give me the Valve Lash specs on a 97 3.4 liter? I have read many threads about how to but not what they are supposed to be set at. I would highly appreciate it.

Valve clearance (Cold):
Intake: 0.13 - 0.23 mm (0.006 - 0.009 in.)
Exhaust: 0.27 - 0.37 mm (0.011 - 0.014 in.)

I had a set of head that were being modified and when they came back they were not up to my specs. found a guy here locally in town and he come very highly recommended. Just wanted to see whether the Stock valve lash settings were the same as the new cams.

Basically he is going through the heads and checking them twice---gonna find out whats naughty and whats nice!!!
