Underdog Racing Development is selling a TRD Generation I blower with an auto tensioner. This is the same supercharger that was made by Magnuson for TRD and sold by TRD under their label. The blowers say TRD on them, but it is no longer an official TRD product.

There is no warranty from Toyota or TRD. However, they do have a one year unlimited mileage limited warranty on the supercharger. The warranty applies to the supercharger only.

There has been speculation on which version of the supercharger is better then the other. They both have the same Eaton M-62 supercharger impellers and drive unit. The only real difference between the two units is the casting that the supercharger components are housed in. The casting URD has is the older two-piece design, where the newer version is a single piece casting. A single casting is cheaper to manufacturer.

UNDERDOG RACING DEVELOPMENT recommends bundling this supercharger with our Supercharger Performance Upgrade Kit, however TRD has been sold these for years without fuel upgrades. The fuel upgrade kit is a great solution for getting the supercharger to perform optimally on your truck. It has an upgraded fuel pump, larger fuel injectors, cooler spark plugs, cooler thermostat, and above all, the needed calibration box to allow you to tune out drivability issues and achive the best possible performance with your specific modifications..
