TRD S/C and ECU ??

Ok I have a 2003 Tundra V6 and on Tundraolutions.com Guys with the TRD S/C for the 2003 v8 say they DON"T feel any power gaines one guy ran a 1/4 time of 15.xx with the TRD S/C and dual exhaust, but a stock v8 is 15.xx. Is there any of you V6 guys having the same porblem. The only diff between the V6 Tundra and the 4Runner is the ECU is a 32 bit insted of the 16 bit on the 03.

i had that same prob with my 2.7 S/C. turns out i was getting boost of about 4-5 PSI and nothing! boy i sure was pissed. the head tech at TRD told me the 2.7 doesnt always respond to forced induction. didnt make much sense to me:dunno:
luckily i got my money back from it. but it sure was disheartening.

however, i have never heard of a problem like this with the 3.4 S/C so i really wouldnt worry about it. and if it doesnt turn out how you would like, TRD is really good about honoring their products and will refund you if you so wish.

Ok I found a TRD /C for my truck at the local performance shop
it is for 95+ 3.4l four cam V6. Is this the second gen TRD S/C I think it's black but not sure.

Also if I upgrade to a smaller pully maybe from pully boys.com which one hould I go for 2.1 or 2.2 and how much boost increase do I get from them

I think just about everybody with the 3.4l has been extremely satisfied with their s/c purchase, but no need to upgrade pulley's unless you have sufficient fuel to supply to it as you will just run lean and damage things.
