Trade 265/70/16 Nitto's
I know this should be posted in another spot but i just wanted to see if there was anyinterst in my proposal.
I have 4 New 265/70/16 (600 miles new) Nitto Terra Grapplers and want to know if anybody in the Central Texas Area would be intersted in Purchasing the tires. HOWEVER, instead of taking off tires, rebalancing etc..and all that other jazz--how bouts just trading me your old tires and rims. I give you my rims and new tires and you are off to the races?
I know this sounds funny but i am doing the SS #7 lift and want the 285/70/16 on my truck. The Rims are Alloy circa 1997 4Runner.
The tires ran $146 a peice plus balancing--looking to get $550. Tell me what you think or is it too high a price. Really the tires and rims are in Great Shape.
Cheers

FWIW, I just sold a set of 265/75R16 Nitto Terra Grappler ATs with about 12,000 miles on them for $299 and that was after ZERO calls or emails while they were listed for $375. I had them posted on Yotatech, Ultimateyota, Toyota-4Runner.org, Craigslist, and an internal bulletin board at work. I sat on them for a week without any interest at all. As soon as I lowered the price, I had a flood of calls and inquiries. Yours are obviously newer than mine were, but typically people are trying to trade up from 265/70s as that's usually what comes stock. Either way, I hope you are able to get that lift and then move up to 285s. I am happy with that same setup. Good luck.
