Toy 22RE engine whistling noise

Greetings!

Need assistance on 91 Toy 4X4 with 22RE. 219k miles. This is the second blown head gasket for this rig. First one went at 156K. Rig was rebuilt. No problems.

About a month ago I had the coolant along with all the other fluids changed. Driving to Tahoe from the Bay Area when engine temp rose. Gauge was still in the normal range but high. Pulled over and let engine cool. Added coolant.

Replaced rad cap in Tahoe. Drove from Tahoe to Monterey. Engine needed more coolant. Took to Goodyear where they told me there was a pinhole in the radiator. Had it replaced. Had to add a pint of coolant every 50-75 miles since then. "disappearing coolant syndrome" Other than that rig ran fine. Took to 4 different mechanic's and no one could find anything wrong till last week. When it failed the block test the 4th time it the blown head gasket.

Engine has been rebuilt and the timing chain replaced along with the water pump. Head needed shims to get the height back. No cracks or other deformities.

Rig runs great! Lots of power however it has this high whistling noise. All hoses in great shape and no intake/exhaust leaks.

What is causing this whistling noise? Will it always be there? Will it go away by itself? What do we need to do to get rid of it. It's deafening! It's still in the shop.

Thanks!

Blue

Switch you recirculate switch on the A/C to Fresh and see if that helps. Other than that I have no idea on a 4 cyl.
