Is there a brake relay under
 

the center shifter console that can go out on a 91 V6?

I had the pedal goto the floor this morning...master cyl good...no leaks anywhere all looks good except I am now hearing a clocking nopse from under the shift console everytime i hit the brake pedal. I know I need to adjust the rears but it the truck has been driving fine till it all of a sudden went out. I am 90 percent certain there are no leaks.Seems the click is a relay of some kind that might need replacement????

The clicking under the console when you step on the brake is the actuator that lets you shift the transmission. Unless the brake is depressed, it won't let the transmission shift.

Yeah sheesh i must be too hot...it's like a duh and a thank you at the same time Toykid. I should have known and was out playing with it when you answered....k Q switches now to why the hell don't i have any brakes? Someone said that if the rear brakes are not adjusted the pedal will go all the way to the floor correct? Does this mean i will not have any front brakes as well? Because that's what i have...nothin, nada, zip..and barely any emergency brake...I have been searching the forum and came up with a few things but haven't had a chance to take off a wheel yet or try adjusting the rears...Any thoughts as to the next step? Maybe I just answered my own Q?

Found it...Blew the right front brake line but it didn't notice the leak till I started it back up again because when i pulled in i used the E-brake to stop.
