Stupid Question #1
Ok, as I said in my other thread just got my Runner, and well... I can't figuer out what the bottom button does on the key fob. Does it actually do anything?? or am I just not picking up on what it actually does...?

Nothing useful, at least to me. I think you can program it to use with other alarm-equiped Toyota vehicles. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

oh, well thats stupid....
I was hoping for a rear window rolldown or rollup... |
it doesn't do anything? I thought I had read somewhere that the factory alarm could control the rear window.
Anyways... can an aftermarket alarm be programmed to control the back window? I'd imagine it depends on the alarm, but would you think that it would just be a matter of programming it, or would it require some kind of add-on module? I've seen aftermarket alarms control regular windows before, just wondering if it was possible to control the back window. And one more question while I'm at it... you know how you can roll up or down the windows for 30 seconds after you turn the rig off (assuming you don't open a door). Well, you don't have that 30 seconds with the rear window. Is it possible to wire it so you do get the 30 seconds with the rear window? |
on mine ..the bottom button..if u hold it in for a few seconds...it rolls down the rear window...no roll-up though
