Strut mounts -- When to replace ??
 

I've got 230,000 miles on my 2001 4runner and I'm putting in my OME N91 shocks and OME 883s springs this weekend along with new ball joints.

My question is should I replace the strut mounts (round cap that goes over tip end of shock and holds spring on the shock assembly.

I know they can't last forever so how do you judge/know when one needs to be replaced ??
