stock fiberglass fenders
I just don't like the look of having 3" flared fenders on the front. does anyone know of any stock looking fiberglass fenders for a '91 p/u????:help:

Why do you want to change your stock fender with fiberglass one's that look stock?
If your trying to save weight, forget it, most are heavier than stock. |
ahhh learn something new everyday.:bigok:

bruce where did you get your fiberglass fenders, im thinking about buying a pair of All Pro Offroad ones for about 200. I need a little better clearance for my baha claws and maybe 35" tires sometime this summer.

In his sig it says they are Glassworks

I got mines for my once owned 92 Toy Pup from Downey. Flared 2 inches out and 2 inches higher cut from tire. Not so stock looking but not outstanding like the Ivan Stewart style.
|
Jboy you got any pics of those fenders?
|
Unfortunately I was computer and camera-less back then. You can get a good look from a Downey catalog. I got this from their site and this is the exact one I had.http://www.downeyoff-road.com/images...ssfenders5.jpg

did they look pretty good or did you end up not liking them?
|
also whats there web site??
|
I liked them but my only gripe was that the door hinges are exposed to the mud, sand, and water being behind the tires. You could have something made to block all this, I ended up selling the truck to get my 4Runner. There are other places likd Duffco and Camburg. Type "fiberglass fenders toyota" in Google and search.
Here is the Downey link. |
