Space between ARB bumber and grill

I have an ARB front bumper on my 95 Runner. The bumper dose not fit snugly up under the grill and headlights, I think this is due to the Runner having a body lift. I know I have seen some of you guys with with an ARB bumper and a body lift where the bumper is snug up to the bottom of the grill and headlights on your rigs. So what's the trick, some kind of spacers? Dose it require:welder: ?

Look a little like this?

There is no real way to fix it except to rework the whole mounting system because of the cradle that is uses to mount. That could potentially weaken an otherwise bombproof mount.

I have been just living with the gap since I have a 1" bodylify and think that time and energy would be better spent elsewhere.

Here's another thought, as you don't actually mention how big the gap is.
There's a gap of around 1/2 an inch (about 2/3 of the gap in Fly's pic) between my ARB bullbar and grill, particularly noticeable on the side skirts where it wraps around.
This is actually a design feature as it allows the body to flex on its mounts without hitting the bar.

It's less pronounced on the newer bars and these days the flashy models for the upmarket wagons incorporate a rubber skirt or plastic spacer to fill in this gap.

If the gap is a good inch, what he said... ;)

Thanks all, I think I have bigger problems now than tha gap between bumper and grill. I think I may have cracked a head when I overheated last week.
:(
