sliders
For those of you who "gave me the gears" for leaving my running boards on, here's what you made me do...
Before: http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/3589/062te6.jpg During (build-up): http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/7...builduphl6.jpg After: http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/6...gday120cl9.jpg Thanks BTW :bigclap: |
Thank looks damn good, plus I like the new shade of brown....it really brings in the features of the truck and makes it more uh....earthly..and uh...naturish..

Yeah, I need some mud flaps I think.

looks good, what kind of sliders?
off topic, howd the revos do? |
yeah, ditto on the frame coverage... anyone else think that the frame sticks out with even no body lift?? I've had a few comments from people thinking i did a body lift since the frame hangs low stock....

nice i need to buy some sliders but dont have the cash to have them welded on also have fun washing that mud off you have a power washer ?

That's what I call camoflauge! Good job. BTW, I like the sliders. Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they're not there.:bigclap:

They are the 67" "Trail Gear" sliders, which I got from North Shore Off-Road in Vancouver for about $170 cdn. They hide the frame very nicely even with the 2" BL and they're tucked up under the body pretty much as far as they will go (I left about 1/2" of space between the pinch weld and the sliders). As for the Revos, they plugged up pretty quickly so you have to choose the right gear to keep the wheels spinning fast enough to self clean, but I had no problem keeping up with the other 3 rigs which were all running 33" Mud Terrains. I'm kind of cheating with the locker though (which they didn't have). 35" MTR's would've been perfect for where I was mind you. Maybe next year....
