Rusted brake line section. Insitu repair without removing entire line?
On my 98 4Runner, I have noticed some rust on two parallel brake lines that run on the passenger side chassis heading towards the rear brakes. These lines seem difficult to remove entirely, especially the end where it seems to go up to the fuel tank. So I was wondering if it was feasible to cut out the section on these two parallel lines and do an insitu repair?
I understand the concept of cutting and flaring a line, but I've never actually done this before (especially not upside down in a tight space) so I figure I'd get some opinions.
Thoughts? Or does anyone know of an easy way to get this section out? I believe it is a somewhat common problem on these trucks.

I think you are talking about the coolant lines that run to the rear heater. Those rust all the time in certain areas of the country.
If that's what you're talking about you can just bypass them and add rubber hose or bypass and block off and lose your rear heater if it's never used.

YES! THANK YOU KBALL!
Upon further inspection it appears that these two lines on the passenger side ARE indeed the coolant lines going to the rear heater. I guess I must have lost my sense of direction the first time I was down here inspecting. The brake lines are on the drivers side, running right next to the fuel line. It's funny...these coolant lines are pretty much the same diameter as the brake lines.
Im just going to spray some anti rust coating on these lines and call it a day
