Tim's 02TRD Tacoma

This is second time this has started. 1st time, dealer said it was a driveshaft problem and they were on on 8-10 wk backorder. Finally put a new spider kit on and said that would take care of problem (18k miles). Now at 22k miles, loud sound is coming back and it seems that the vehicle doesn't downshift properly or "freewheel" when you let off the accelerator...... The dealer identified a yoke problem on first visit and said it was very common on the Lexus and had started showing up on the 03 4runner....

4Runner will maintain it's speed on level ground and even seems to accel a little bit like something doesn't release or tranny/transfer is screwed up

Any others with this problem? Any thoughts on this? Your input is appreciated!
