Replacing dash back lights

I have several dash back lights out on a 2000 ( rear defrost, ect, passenger and security) as well as one window control light in each door. How big of an ordeal is it to replace these? Would I find the info in the repair manual, if so, does anyone know of a link to it somewhere.

It's really easy. Follow the CD player install to get off the front piece, and they are the little round brown/green/black deals with a slot in them for a screwdriver. The lights are costly...but well worth it.

Thanks. Where exactly would I find the cd player install, is this in the repair manual or can I find it elsewhere? I know Crutchfield etc. send you one if you buy something, but I have already had the stereo replaced. Can I get the lights at AutoZone, etc. or will I need to order them from a Toyota parts dept.?

You don't need to unscrew your 4WD knob, if its like mine, and you have a 4WD push button, you can't unscrew it. You can actually just unsnap the black boot from the console. Its like a ring that snaps into the hooks....just squeeze the boot towards the shaft, and you'll see how it unhooks. Just don't pull up or down on it.

Yes, mine also has the push button 4WD. Thanks for the link!
