Rear Sway Bar - Need it or No?

Installed my 2" rear cornfeds this weekend....took of the swaybar....sheered off one of the 12mm bolts holding it to the axle. Left it off.

DOESN'T seem to drive any different!

Anyone else out there in yota land leave theirs off? Extra droop?

what is YOUR $.02?

it will improve droop without it...

my 85 yota didnt have one on the rear... and i removed my front one when i lifted it

i had rear and front removed on my old 4x4... i noticed more body roll in turns, but it helped out articulation a lot while offroad....

you just need to learn how to drive it, you may not notice in everyday situations, however i have heard that in extreme emergency panic situations that unless you know how to drive, the vehicle might react unsatifactorily

I'm barless, but I also haven't had to jerk the wheel at high speeds.
Aslong as you never hit that situation, you'll be fine...

Besides, you have your TJM so you don't have to jerk the wheel. :D

heh. yah know yer right....3 outta 5 people jump outta the way of the TJM!

well, at pretty much 'fast as I should be going speeds' (read 80mph) - the truck felt pretty darn stable - but I also raised the center o' gravity in the rear 3" this weekend.

Needless to say, I'm happy with the way it rides and handles. I think the bar is staying off.
