Rear springs keep shifting
I have been searching for a few hours now and i cant find it i just got my toytec lift installed and was wondering if anyone has a limiting strap on there rear diff to keep there rear springs from falling out of place when flexing? i have the toytec 3 in lift with the bilstien shocks in the rear its a 97 4runner 4x4
thanks |
You won't need limiting straps on the rear, your bumpstops shouldn't allow the springs to get loose in there. Did you get longer shocks to accomodate the lift?
I have the same lift with stock shocks and have had mine completely flexed out and the rear springs stayed put. |
I will take a wild guess that you installed them upside down. Both sides will fall out of place or just one side?
Hope I am wrong but someone should be able to just look at it and tell, so share a photo if you dare.... |
Check this out:
