Rattle from the Center/ Rear End of my truck
Just like it says. When I take off from a complete stop I am hearing a clunking/rattle as I move forward. It lasts about a second. The harder I hit the gas the louder the rattle. If I switch into neutral and rev the engine the rattle does not occur. I checked under the truck and the only thing I could see was that the center suppourt bracket for the rear driveshaft looked worn. The black rubber gasket showed signs of wear and tearing. I dont really know exactly what to call that part i can take a picture if need be. This caused what seemed to be a lot of play in the rear driveshaft I drive a 99 Tacoma V6 TRD.

all the u-joints looked ok to me, but I didn't look that long. what's weird to me is that it only happens off the line, If I slam on the gas at 15 mph, no noise.
