Question about wheel size and backspacing ...
 

Hey all.. i have been checking out this sight for about a month before i actually posted. I just bought a black 1998 Tacoma ext cab v6. i just came over from the VW world, and things are a little diffrent .. ;) , but most of the platforms for modifications are the same. I have done a search but only got my self confused and run into a circle. What i need to know is, I am raising the truck 3", and want to put 33x12.5x15 tires on. now what I need to know, is what back spacing do i need. I dont want to poke out all the way or leave myself short and rub on the A-arms. What is a recommended tire wheel depth (15x8 or 15x10) and backspacing to run? Basically what is astandard offset... all help is appreciated .. thanks Todd

For the Tacoma, I think people are running 3.5 inch backspacing on 15X8 inch rims. Ask JRUZ, he has the same year truck.
