Quad in the back of a 88-4runner?

How hard woudl it be to get a quad in the back of an 88 4runner?If i put the seat down, and took the bars off? WOuld it fit? Forany one who knows quads...its a 250R..Not a big quad. THX A LOT!

I am pretty sure it is too tall and too wide. If you took the tires and plastic off too it might fit.

i saw someone do it... just had to unbolt the rollbar, roll it in, then put the rollbar back on (top of the atv).
No roof of course.

I thought AdamF did this in the past?

Im sure its possible, especialy with a 250r, they arent too big nor heavy...Like the others say, you might need to remove the tires, maybe 'fold' down the handlebars, a couple other ajustments..Try it and let us know. I guess you could at least measure the back of the runner, then compare it to the size of the quad.

if the top is off maybe... i saw a shortbed yota 4x4 truck the otehr day with a quad in the back....

I used to keep mine in the back. it was a suzuki 230 quad. it fit with the roof off and the rollbar out. Sorry I dont have any pics, it was over 10 years ago.

you can get a trailer from a hardware store for pretty cheap, much easier than take wheels off and such.
