Programming Key Fob

I have a '99 4Runner and I was wondering if anyone knew how to program the key fobs. It would be really helpful if someone could let me know because my key sets off the alarm, so the only way to get into my car w/o setting the alarm off is the key fob. I greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!!!

I bought my 98' used and do not have a key fob. Did all 4-runners come with the keyless entry option or not? Is there some way to tell? Thanks.

Yes to the fact that you can tell. There should be a little black box under your drivers seat. You could also have the dealership run your vin to see if it came from the factory with one.

no, not all 4runers came w/ the factory alarm systems

for 96-98, it was called the rs3000

99 to 2002 - rs3200

though some 99s had the rs3000
