problems with dccontrols.com

I bought a Hayden fan controller and it worked fine for about 6 months then something happened and the fan will not work.

Since then I have ordered a FK-35 fan controller from dccontrols.com a month ago.

My problem is that I have emailed numerous times with no response. I have even went through the Paypal resolution center (paid through PP) and I am waiting for a response from dccontrols.

Does someone have an alternate email or perhaps a phone number for these folks so I can get my controller???

Is this the e-mail you're using? Support@dccontrol.com <Support@dccontrol.com>

That's the one I used last time I chatted with Brian Baskin. He always answered my questions fairly quickly. I've heard that he can get backed up with a wait time though, and I ordered mine well in advance of needing it for that reason. It came pretty quickly when I ordered mine but this is no doubt the busy season for him with a lot of the country in a heat wave.

Pozi,

I left Brian an email at the address that Mt Goat posted when my controller stopped working out of the blue as well. It took a few days but he called me and offered to test out my controller and replace it if he finds that it is faulty. I have not heard back after sending it about 3 weeks ago but I am not worried about it. I have heard good things about him on this site and he seemed very concerned about the unit and my satisfaction on the phone.

Yes I have tried emailing to that address as well as sales@dccontrol.com.

Thanks for the input. I will wait until I hear a response from Brian.

Filing a claim with PayPal before even calling him or hearing from him does nothing but clog up things. You should only have done that AFTER no resolution from posting a thread like this. I am SURE this is his busy season.

I found his phone number in 5 seconds with a :google:

Brian Baskin

I have his FK 35 as well and got it in a month or so. He is a good guy AFAIK.

I am sure he is a good guy and granted it probably is his busy season. However after a month goes buy without word or response to emails that is when people (including myself) get a little anxious. His phone number is hidden within his web-site. One shouldn't have to use Google to get a contact number when dropping $120 on a product.

I would like to give him another chance but I have not been driving my 4Runner for the last month in anticipation for this fan controller.

I just wanted to follow up and say that Brian found the problem with my controller and promptly returned the repaired unit to me. I have no doubts that he is a stand up guy running a good business. Also, the problem was most not likely not with the controller itself but actually due to my handling and installation of it.
